ACM SIGGRAPH 2003 Symposium on Interactive 3D Graphics

Call for Student Volunteers

The I3D Symposium presents a great opportunity for the student volunteers; at such a small and informal conference, it's easy to meet the leaders in the field. Come meet people from all over the world who share your interests in interactive computer graphics.

Student Volunteer Duties

Each volunteer will likely work about 15-20 hours during the symposium, helping with setup, breakdown, and all activities in between. There will be orientation and training the day before the conference begins; attendance will be mandatory. Most duties relate to helping ACM staff at the registration desk, and manning microphones and A/V equipment during presentations.

Benefits for Student Volunteers

As a student volunteer, you will have numerous opportunities to meet and work with graphics researchers and professionals. In exchange for the duties described below, you will receive the following benefits at no charge:

  • remission of conference registration fee
  • copy of the proceedings

You must arrange your own transportation to the conference site, and your own housing.

To Apply

Please send the following information to the conference co-chair, Dr. Michael Capps (mike@epicgames.com):

  • name
